Best curry rice in Dazaifu
To order, write a check on a piece of paper, bring it to the counter, and pay in advance on the spot. I ordered a minced meat cutlet curry, but I was disappointed because the minced meat cutlet was small considering the price. I love the taste of curry, and it tasted similar to the curry on the road in Munakata. I went without breakfast, so I ordered a large serving of roux and rice, but I ended up eating too much.
When it comes to curry, I tend to get carried away. You can choose the amount of roux, rice, and spiciness in detail, so some people may have a hard time ordering, but it may be great for people on diets, women, and the elderly. It's a great place for a date. Please give it a try.
I entered the store as soon as it opened at 11:30am. Although the name of the restaurant may be a bit scary, the staff are very kind and serve delicious curry.
Fill out the order form on the table and pay at the reception desk. Drinks such as cold, barley tea, and oolong tea, as well as rakkyo pickles and fukujinzuke, are brought to your table by yourself.
This time I ordered a regular portion of delicious spicy ¥650 and tonkatsu topping for ¥150. I thought it was quite spicy even though it was spicy, but as I continued to eat it, the spiciness and flavor harmonized nicely and it was delicious. There are quite a lot of curry roux, so it might be a good idea to order more rice.
After I entered, customers started coming in one after another, so it seems like it's a popular curry restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
A famous curry restaurant known only to those in the know. The color of the curry on the signboard outside the restaurant is completely different, and as you can see in the photo, the curry served is a rich beef curry that has been simmered. Of course, since it is a stewed curry, it has a strong flavor and goes perfectly with side dishes. Although it is popular as a spicy curry, it is difficult to determine the intensity of the spiciness, so choose from the original. The sweetness of the onions oozes out. The store's parking lot and nearby roads are narrow and there is a lot of traffic, so please park at the coin parking lot near Futsukaichi Station before heading over.
Koroshi curry from Futsukaichi.
It's famous, but this is my first time visiting.
Contrary to the name of the restaurant, the curry was gentle and had a nostalgic feel to it, and it was delicious.
I wasn't that hungry, so I ordered a small amount of spicy food.
Even though it was a small amount, it was a lot of roux.
Make your own rakkyo, fukujinzuke, and hariharizuke.
I love Kobayashi Curry in front of JR Futsukaichi Station, but Koroshi's curry was completely different and very delicious.
There is a parking lot in the back, but it might be a little difficult to get in.
Curry that feels nostalgic yet new
This is a curry shop in Futsukaichi. I stopped by on my way back from visiting Dazaifu from Fukuoka City.
It is located near Nishitetsu Futsukaichi.
The store had a mysterious atmosphere, reminiscent of Showa Japan, which felt like a foreign country. There are comics there.
Ordering was done by writing down the spiciness and toppings on a piece of paper, so I was able to plan my plan slowly.
You can take your own tea, water, rakkyo, etc.
Three people ordered three types of curry. Toppings are cheese, hamburger steak, and minced meat cutlet.
The curry was a type with a good balance of sweetness and spice, as mentioned in other reviews.
It seemed like the type commonly found in long-established curries in Osaka. For example, I had the impression that the sweetness and spiciness of Indian curry in Osaka was mellowed out.
I've eaten curry from several restaurants in Osaka that emphasized sweetness, but I think this type is rare in Fukuoka.
The roux had a thick consistency and had a strange feeling of being both nostalgic and new.
You may be the type of person who likes it or dislikes it.
It might be a good match for people who like thick curry.
Personally, I like spicy curry that isn't too thick.

I've been rolling♪
1 minute walk from Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station🏠🐾
▶︎Curry + fried shrimp/fatty egg ¥1,050 (front)
▶︎Curry + grilled cheese/hot spring egg ¥950 (back)
The sweetness of stewed fruits and onions, followed by the spiciness
A fruity and rich curry that will make you addictive🍛
Guinea beef inside the well-boiled roux◎
The grilled cheese is hot and full of cheese 🥄
Comes with self-made pickles, both are delicious and complete♪
Fill in your preferred spiciness and toppings on the order form at your seat.
Then, if you pay at the cash register, it's OK ◎The menu table shows
The spiciness standards and amount of rice were also listed in detail.
The inside of the store was a miscellaneous space with handmade board games and manga, and I got the impression that customers were coming in one after another🐾
Thank you for the meal *ˊᵕˋ)੭

🐾Posting a record of eating while walking every day🐾
I've been going there regularly ever since I moved from Tamura (or maybe?) in Sawara Ward. The taste is sweet.
It's been more than ten years now, and I've been eating around here quite a bit, but I haven't come across a curry that's better than this one or anywhere other than Sanyo Onoda City in Yamaguchi and Kanda Jimbocho.
It's a pity that the stamp service has recently ended.
